The TESOL/AL Roundtable will be holding its second research forum of the year on Friday, April 10th at 4:00 pm. The presentations should be approximately 20 minutes including a Q&A session. This is a great opportunity for those of you who wish to share your literature reviews, teaching demos, or empirical studies in an inviting space among your peers.
Dr. Andrea Tyler, the keynote speaker from Georgetown University, will also be sharing a presentation about the semantics of phrasal verbs. The results of her pilot study have not yet appeared anywhere, so this is an exciting opportunity to hear about recent advances in the field of cognitive linguistics. Dr. Tyler will present first at 4pm, followed by a short break and student presentations. If you're interested in presenting, please submit the topic and abstract of your presentation as well as an estimate of your presentation length to [email protected] by Wednesday, March 25th. If you're interested in volunteering, please send us an email at [email protected].
